Born in Suzhou in 1986, Lin Yue draws inspiration from classical gardens, botanical forms and everyday observations. Her practice moves between meticulous gongbi techniques and contemporary oil painting, often exploring stillness, light and the relationship between nature and interior space.
I am interested in moments that feel familiar but slightly distant. Through plants, objects and light, I try to create spaces where traditional visual language can meet contemporary experience.
